I first learned about the environment while playing with dirt, exploring forests, fishing in streams and enjoying other outdoor activities growing up. Later on, while writing for newspapers and magazines, there were mentors and sources who let me ask a lot of questions. By writing stories about the natural world, I tapped into a place inside of me which fostered my connection to the earth. We all have that place – and ability. . .
The future is in your hands!
